DANCING On Ice star Alex Demetriou appeared practically giddy as he enjoyed a boozy catch up with his girl pal who he hadn’t seen in 16 years.
The professional ice skater headed out to the park to drink in the sunshine with his friend Beth, who he revealed was his first ever skating partner.
Looking tanned, relaxed and happy, Alex, 31, shared the video with his Instagram followers revealing he was hanging out with his stunning friend Beth.
The brunette beauty looked pretty happy to be hanging out with Alex, as she smiled and waved for his fans.
It seems like Alex is letting his hair down and enjoying the perks of lockdown easing up after following government rules to stay home and social distance.
Alex is currently single after splitting with his wife, fellow pro skater, Carlotta Edwards after Dancing On Ice ended in March.
The skating hunk has admitted his close friendship with skating partner Maura Higgins made his wife jealous – and helped tear their marriage apart.
Speaking to The Sun Alex revealed: “I think Carlotta found it hard to see me close, yet so professional, with Maura. It had an impact on her.
“Several times I had to explain to Carlotta that Maura and I were just friends. Once the rumours start, it becomes a conversation.
“It was hard for Maura being called a homewrecker online.”
Speaking from Blackpool, where he has been locked down with family, Alex said he and Maura became pals as soon as they started training.
He said: “Maura and I have never hid the fact we are close as friends. Within a month, we already had a close bond.”
Since Maura and Alex denied any romance, the stunning Love Island star has been linked to her fellow Villa castmate Chris Taylor.
The duo spent the weekend together and a bleary-eyed Chris was seen leaving the Ann Summers’ model’s home on Monday.

An onlooker said: “Chris looked bleary-eyed but he definitely had a spring in his step. He skipped to his car.”
The pair’s closeness has had co-stars buzzing for months.
The pair met pals Jordan Hames, Michael Griffiths and Danny Williams at Sheesh restaurant in Chigwell, Essex.
Maura and Chris, both 29, left in his Merc and headed to her flat nearby.
A separate source told how the pair were seen and heard on Maura’s patio last Sunday.
The source said: “They were there hours, chatting away.”
