HE MAY be about to head back into the villa for Love Island All Stars, but just a few months ago Chris Taylor vowed he’d NEVER return to the show.
It has been confirmed that the reality star – who was on the show back in 2019 – is part of new star line-up.
However, in an exclusive interview with The Sun last summer Chris, 33, talked of how he didn’t want to go back into the famous villa.
When asked whether he would give Love Island another shot he told us: “I don’t think so, no.
“I just think I’ve done that now, and I am on top of things and want to see where that goes.
“I don’t think I was a typical Love Island in the first place, I shouldn’t really have been on the show.”
Chris went on: “And I had this weird thing of not doing the same thing as other people.
“I like to try to do different things, which is why when I came out instead of doing fashion and fitness stuff I did weird videos. I don’t like following the crowd.”
During his time on the show Chris proved popular with viewers and his fellow Islanders.
Now it has been revealed that despite saying he would never go back on Love Island, he IS part of the All Stars line-up.
Speaking to ITV today, Chris said of his return to the villa: “Last time I was only there for 15 days, so I want to do it and enjoy it all again.
“I am 33 now and getting on a bit – I am getting ear hair! It would be nice to have a girl to keep my ears trimmed for me!
“It would be good to find a girl who I can co-parent my dog with.”
Since leaving the villa, Chris’ career has gone from strength to strength, which even included a role as one of the Ken’s in the 2023 movie, Barbie.
He told us that it was all down to leading lady Margot Robbie being a Love Island super fan
Speaking to The Sun last year, Chris said: “I don’t know if this is true, but it’s all I can assume. I met Margot Robbie at an afterparty.
“Margot recognised us from Love Island – I was with Jordan and Mac and she came over to us, chatting and talking about Love Island.
“She loves Love Island. And then she said ‘do you want to come to the after, after party?’, which was back at her hotel. It was a massive hotel room, it was more like a house.
“It was all pretty bizarre.
“I decided to go outside for some fresh air and then Margot comes out as well.
“So I was stood there ‘like what do you say to Margot Robbie?’.”
