LOVE Island’s Curtis Pritchard has revealed he turned down a spot on the current All Stars series.
Curtis, 27, who found fame on the 2019 summer installment, confessed he hasn’t even been watching the ITV2 show from home.
It might be for the best, though, as Chris Taylor recently made a savage swipe at the former Dancing With The Stars pro in the villa.
When asked by OK! if he’d been approached to return, he explained: “There was an opportunity to but no, I thought, ‘Maybe not this time.’
“I need to catch up on it. To be fair, I’ve heard there’s a lot going down. Obviously, it’s All Stars and everybody’s been thrown back in at the deep end of the game. It’s a weird one though.
“I wonder if any of the same couples are gonna get back together. So I do need to catch up, and I’ve heard it’s been really good so far.”
It’s no wonder Curtis decided against returning to the format, as he only recently participated in the U.S. spinoff, Love Island Games.
Love Island fans were left gobsmacked last week when Chris made a massive dig at Curtis.
Curtis famously coupled up with Maura Higgins in the latter days of his time on the show and she later went on to date Chris, who also appeared on their series.
Suggesting there could be beef between them, Chris openly mocked the dancer by copying one of his most iconic moments in the villa.
As the cast woke up after the first night, Chris mimicked Curtis saying: “I just like to be the guy that gets up and makes everybody their coffee so that everybody is ready for the day.”
Those watching at home couldn’t believe Chris’ rather obvious dig.
One person said: “Why is nobody talking about chris being hilarious and mocking the curtis cup of tea gate.”
A second added: “Omg not Chris throwing Curtis shade with the coffee reference!!! Absolutely hilarious!!”
While a third commented: “Not chris mocking Curtis the barista.”
Curtis had spoken about his love of making coffee before ending things with Amy Hart.
He then moved on to Maura and the pair ended up dating for seven months after the show.
She then moved on to Chris – leaving Curtis fuming, claiming he had been “stabbed in the back”.
